Add-ons

Optional add-ons customize your plan. To find them, click your workspace name, then Add-Ons:

Canceling

There is one way out, and it is on the Billing page. Click your workspace name at the top of the page, choose Billing, then click Cancel subscription. Only the owner sees this button.

A box titled Cancel your subscription opens and tells you first whether you are inside the refund window:

  • Inside the refund window — within 30 days of your first charge, or within 14 days of a renewal you did not intend — there is one card, Refund this period and close today. Click Refund and close today and type the workspace name to confirm. The whole payment for the current period is refunded, and the workspace closes right away.
  • Outside the refund window there is no refund, and two cards to choose from. Stop subscription at the end of the period keeps your full access until the period you have paid for ends, then the workspace closes — click the button of the same name. Stop subscription now closes the workspace today — type the workspace name and click Stop subscription now.

Both dates you need are printed inside the box: the day the workspace closes, and the day it is deleted. Click Keep my subscription to close the box without changing anything.

What “closed” means

Closed means everything stops. Your newsletters stop sending, your website stops being updated, and any book widgets you have embedded on your own site stop working. Your published website itself is not affected, because it is hosted on your own account.

Signing in to a closed workspace shows one page. It says why the workspace closed, gives the date it will be deleted, and offers two buttons: Download your data and Pay to come back. Nothing else in the workspace opens.

Your smart links keep working for as long as the workspace exists, closed included. They stop when it is deleted.

The 90 days, and coming back

A closed workspace is kept for 90 days, whatever closed it — a payment that stopped or you canceling. It is the same 90 days in every case. We email you when it closes, then again 30 days, 7 days and 1 day before the deletion date. We do not delete a workspace we have not warned.

Paying at any point in those 90 days brings the whole workspace back exactly as it was. If your subscription is still alive at Paddle, that is the Keep subscription button on the Billing page. If it has already ended, pick a plan on the same page and subscribe again.

On the deletion date the workspace and everything in it are permanently deleted, along with any Pubblish account that existed only for that workspace. Download your data before then if you want to keep a copy.

If a payment fails

Nothing happens at once. Paddle keeps retrying your card, you keep full access, and a banner appears telling you how many days are left. We email you as well.

If the retries run out, the workspace closes and the 90 days above begin. Updating your card at any point puts everything back — and if the workspace has already closed, paying brings it back exactly as it was.

Payment Methods

Paddle offers the payment methods available in your country, including major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal.

Invoices

Invoices are emailed automatically after each payment.

Free Trial

New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. You choose your plan when you sign up. Your trial converts to a paid subscription automatically at the end. Cancel before it ends if you don’t want to continue.

The trial gives you everything in your plan. Recurring add-ons are the one exception: they start after your first payment, as described under Add-ons above.
